Donadoni eyes Udinese job

01/17/2009 - Udine, Italy (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Former Italy coach Roberto Donadoni has admitted that he is desperate to get back into the game, having been linked with the managerial position at Udinese.

Udine coach Pasquale Marino has come under pressure following a dismal recent run of results, with Donadoni a leading candidate to take his place if he is axed.

He told Il Friuli: "I have not been a coach for six months and I am disappointed to be out of work. I want to get back in the game.

"I can only say that where there is a serious project in place with concrete targets, then I am ready. That is true for every squad, including Udinese.

"I couldn't say what sparked this crisis. Udinese are a good squad, one of the best for long periods of the season, both in terms of performance and results."
