The Serbs led by seven during the fourth quarter, but Croatia came back to tie it. Rasic was fouled by Davor Kus and drilled the first free throw before intentionally missing the second to give Serbia the win.

Rasic finished with 15 points, while Nenad Krstic led the Serbs with 16.

Marko Popovic scored 21 points for Croatia and Roko Ukic added 11.

Serbia's opponent in the quarterfinals will be Spain, which posted an 80-72 victory over Greece.

Juan Carlos Navarro paced the Spaniards with 22 points, while Rudy Fernandez added 14.

Nikos Zisis and Dimitris Diamantidis both led Greece with 16 points each.
